Properties

This product is colorless liquid. Soluble in organic solvent, easy hydrolysis, alcohol hydrolysis.

D-26 is a new type of disilane, that is, there are two silane structures in the same molecular structure. They have six alkoxy groups on one molecule, twice as many as normal silane coupling agents. Therefore, BTMSE and BTSE can form a higher cross-linking density on the surface of inorganic materials. At the same time, the silol formed by hydrolysis of the product is more acidic than that formed by ordinary silane coupling agent, so it can form a stronger covalent bond with the hydroxyl group on the surface of metal and inorganic materials, and it is not easy to hydrolysis.
